NORSU Key Officials benchmarked with Bayawan City headed by Board of Regent and Mayor Pryde Henry Teves and his City Officials on July 25, 2017 at Bayawan City Hall.
The pool of key officials from NORSU includes BAC Chairman Dr. Armando A. Alviola, BAC Secretariat Chairman Mr. Marx G. Iturralde, VP-APD Dr. Noel Marjun Yasi, University Accountant Merlyn Romano, Budget Officer Rene Boy Catubig and others.
Officials coming from NORSU were warmly welcomed by Mayor Teves and also by their respective counterparts from the city of Bayawan.
Mayor Teves, after the arrival of the expected guest, immediately discussed the way how the City came to be progressive in terms of project acquisitions and smooth processing of such. He also pointed out the importance of collaboration between offices to attain a harmonious processing of request to benefit all of the constituents at the university.
The former Third District Representative also encouraged all the participants to be more productive in each of their respective offices and not to rely to others to accomplish the tasks assigned to them.
After the discussion, the group were divided into two clusters: one cluster for the BAC and BAC Secretariat and the other cluster for the Planning & Development and the rest of the Key Officials. The aim of the mayor’s clustering scheme is to provide intensive assistance to each of the participants for them to gain more knowledge from there counterpart in Bayawan who are performing well with their responsibilities.
On the other hand, Dr. Yasi thanked the city Mayor for his passion of helping out them and NORSU in general. He added that the benchmarking between the two bodies will surely have a good result.
