CoL Holds Panel Discussion
NORSU College of Law (CoL) held a Panel Discussion on the topic “Some Ideas on How to Teach the Rule of Law to Law Students” at NORSU CNPAHS AVR last September 19, 2017.
The event was in compliance with the Legal Education Board (LEB) Memorandum Circular No. 09, dated last September 5, 2017 and in observance of the Law Day and Philippine National Law Week, which declares the suspension of classes in all levels of the said college. Faculty members and students were required to attend and participate in the said Panel Discussion.
Atty. Mikhail Lee Maxino, adviser of the CoL, graced the event along with Atty. Rafael Orillana, Atty. Pearl Estacion, and Judge Ma. Corazon Perez as the speakers of the panel discussion.
Atty. Maxino, in his speech, encouraged his students to strive hard with their studies for them to surpass the grade required by the college to be able to continue their pursuit of becoming lawyers.
On the other hand, after the speakers shared their respective thoughts regarding the topic, students got the chance to raise questions and share their thoughts regarding the matter which were immediately entertained by the speakers.
