Organized by the Office of Research and Development and spearheaded by Dr. Benjamin S. Dr. Edwin F. Romano, Jr., Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, warmly welcomed the participants, which included research advisers, graduate students, and master’s and doctoral degree graduates.

The first day of the training featured five topics. Dr. Albert C. Albina, Head of the University Publication Unit, presented “Why Publish Your Research Outputs,” “How to Select the Right Journal and Understand Indexing,” and “On Authorship Contribution and Order.” This was followed by Dr. Ralph A. The second day focused on the review of draft manuscripts, beginning with a mentoring session facilitated by Dr. Craig N. Refugio, Editor-in-Chief of Prism, and Dr. Venus B. To conclude the technical sessions, Dr. Paculanang discussed “The Peer Review Process,” while Dr. Albina shared insights on “How to Respond to Reviewers’ Comments and Deal with Manuscript Rejection.”

In her message, Dr. Chizanne S.
