Justin Jose A. Bulado is an Associate Professor from the Social Science Department, College of Arts and Sciences, Negros Oriental State University Main Campus 1. He finished his MA in History and PhD in Social Science at Silliman University. He is currently the Department Chairperson of the Social Science Department of Negros Oriental State University, Main Campus 1 and the Program Coordinator of the Master of Arts in History program of NORSU Graduate School.

He is a member of the Philippine National Historical Society (PNHS), the Philippine Historical Association (PHA), and the Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao (UGAT) or the Anthropological Association of the Philippines. His main discipline is in the field of history and his research interests include World War II studies (i.e. resistance and collaboration), local biographical studies, and historiography. He has published journal articles for Philippine Studies: Historiographic & Ethnographic Viewpoints, Journal of Philippine Local History and Heritage, and others. He has also presented papers nationally and internationally, with his most recent one as a part of the Emerging Scholars Workshop sponsored by the Jenny Craig Institute of War and Democracy of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
