History

Negros Oriental State University Alumni Association had its humble beginning after the passage of Philippines Legislative Act No. 3377on December 3, 1927 creating Negros Oriental trade Schools (NOTS) to provide education and training in Industrial Arts and Trades on the secondary Level of the Province of Negros Oriental. The first graduates formed the first Alumni Association to continue their camaraderie and the spirit of loyalty to their Alma Mater....

Mission

Negros Oriental State University Alumni Association Inc. (NORSUAA) exists to help in keeping lasting relationship among teachers, graduates and friends; of the University. It also helps the Alumni to stay in touch with the progress and development of their Alma Mater.

Vision

Every Alumnus/Alumnae must be an active participant in the life of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU).

Goal

The Association is organized and operated for the following objectives:

a. to serve the interest and help to enhance the stature of Negros Oriental State University (the �University�);

b. to assist, aid, and advise the university in the betterment of quality education for future alumni;

c. to provide services to and strengthen connections between alumni, by fostering individual growth, enhancing ties to the University, and otherwise;The Association is organized and operated for the following objectives:

d. to act as the main coordinating organization for associations representing specialized groups of alumni of the University; and

e. Such purposes as are set forth in Republic Act No. 8292, the Higher Education Modernization Law, and Republic Act No. 9299
