The Planning Department of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU), in partnership with the Graduate School of Public and Development Management (GSPDM) of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), organized the SDG Regional Caravan on Future-Ready Philippines: Incorporating Technological Innovations, Incorporating Commercial Building Design, Sustainable Tourism, and Food Security on September 5, 2024, held at NORSU ST AVR.

The SDG and Futures Thinking Research Presentation features four DAP research fellows: Dr. Filemon A. Uriarte, Jr., Dr. Monina M. Buccat, Ms. Hannah M. Gonzalez, DR.Oliva Domingo and Dr. Ruperto S. Sangalang.

Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, President of NORSU University, along with Dr. Rose Marie T. Pinili, VP of Academic Affairs, Dr. Merivic G. Catada, VP of Administration and Finance, Dr. Edwin F. Romano, Jr., VP for Research, Innovation, Development, and Extension, directors, deans, CTHM & CEA faculty and students, and campus administrators attended the event.
