The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) held its General Orientation Program today, September 24, 2024, at the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Sports & Cultural Complex.
The orientation officially commences with the words of welcome by CCJE Dean Dr. Jose Rene A. Cepe, followed by the introduction of faculty, staff, and student leaders.
Thereafter, PNCO of the Provincial Highway Patrol team Negros Oriental, PEMS Bienvenido B. Gamo, and P/MAJ Reymond Alvarez Royales of PNP Negros Oriental Provincial Forensic Unit share their enlightening message to the students as the guest speakers of the said orientation.
Moreover, University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi emphasized in his speech that NORSU CCJE students must be the bearers of truth, honesty, and integrity. By upholding these virtues, "we can be part of creating a good society," he added.
The afternoon session of the orientation discussed the following: Requirements, Admission, and Selective Retention Policies; Student Conduct and Discipline; Criminology Training Unit; College Facilities, Laboratories, and Services; as well as College and University Activities.
