As part of the university’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, the Finance Division of Negros Oriental State University-Main Campus conducted a Process Flow Analysis Workshop on June 3, 2025 (Tuesday) at Rovira Suites, Dumaguete City.
The workshop aimed to enhance the efficiency of the Finance Division by reviewing its organizational structure and functions (Budget and Accounting Staff). The workshop also discussed the evaluation of workflows and the identification of opportunities for automation and digital transformation. It focused on reducing time-consuming processes, addressing process bottlenecks that cause delays, while strengthening accuracy, transparency, and accountability through collaborative analysis.
Personnel from the Budget, Finance, and Accounting Offices, spearheaded by the Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, Mr. Rene Boy A. Catubig, participated in the activity.
Serving as the consultant for the workshop was RD Efren Carreon, whose expertise guided the participants through in-depth process evaluations and improvement strategies.
The workshop was graced by the presence of University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi and Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Merivic G. Catada, both of whom expressed their support for the initiatives to streamline operations and promote innovation in financial processes.
