The Negros Oriental State University administration conducted today, August 11, 2025, the Orientation and Re-Orientation Program for Newly Hired and Current Employees, held at the NORSU Sports and Cultural Complex.
The attendees from the main and external campuses were cordially welcomed by the University President III, Hon. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, Psy.D. He proudly shared NORSU's accomplishment of achieving 100% in the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
The provisions of Republic Act 6713: An act establishing a code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials and employees were discussed by Atty. Marcelino Mikhail Lee L. Maxino, Dean of the NORSU School of Law.
Mr. Lanvin Rey N. Calugcugan, Administrative Officer V, presented the HR Policies and Omnibus Rules on Leave. Payroll Systems and Processes were explained by Mrs. Rowena S. Teves, Administrative Officer IV. Mr. Rene Boy Catubig, CPA, MBA, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance (CAO-Finance), discussed the Salaries and Benefits of regular employees.
The Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) on Sexual Harassment was presented by the Gender and Development Director, Dr. Aileen Rosette M. Felix.
In his closing message, President Yasi expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the orientation.
