“Lawyers for the People, Justice for the Nation”
Introduction & Institutional Identity
Negros Oriental State University (NORSU), the only state university in Negros Oriental, reaffirms its mission of accessible, excellent, and socially responsive education through the re-establishment of its School of Law in 2025.
The School of Law is dedicated to producing lawyers who combine professional competence, integrity, and a deep sense of service. While grounded in the needs of Negros Oriental and the Visayas, its mission extends to the nation as a whole—preparing graduates to take part in nation-building, democratic governance, and the advancement of justice throughout the Philippines.
