Gender and Development speaker on GAD Related Laws was Prosecutor Emmylou Bendanillo of the Department of Justice, Provincial Prosecutor's Office, Dumaguete City. Prosecutor Bendanillo discussed Republic Act 7877 known as Anti Sexual Harassment Act, Republic Act 11313 known as Safe Spaces Act and the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) and the University CODI Manual. The lecture was followed by an open forum where participants were able to ask questions and clarified issues related to the topic.
