Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Silliman University yesterday, September 5, 2024. Both parties agree to develop the following activities of mutual interest on the basis of equality and reciprocity: use of the Silliman University Microgrid and Sustainable Energy Laboratory (MSEL), lectures and workshops, collaborative research projects, and other activities as mutually agreed.

Representing Silliman University were Dr.Lorena Tuballa, dean of the College of Engineering & Design and Director of MSEL, Engr.Klint Ian Austero, Assistant Director of MSEL and Engr.Stephen Ragpa. In attendance from NORSU were University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, together with the Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), Engr. Jose Vill S. Villanueva, and CEA faculty.
