The oathtaking ceremony for the newly elected officials of the Student Government in Dumaguete City of Negros Oriental State University (SGDC-NORSU) took place on September 6, 2024, focusing on the theme "Navigating Changes: Empowering Leaders for a Dynamic Future."

During the event, both University President Noel Marjon E. Yasi, Psy.D., and Student Affairs Services Director Mr. Julio E. Ventolero, MTE, MMM, delivered motivational speeches to the student officers from various colleges. Newly elected President of SGDC Ram Robert Vincci Lazan, SGDC Vice-President Stephen Pedrosa, CAS Gov. Kyle Russel Waminal, CBA Gov. Tomy Culanag Mayono, CIT Gov. Lance Lehr Larosa Laro, CNPAHS Gov. Jeff Mathieu Jayaon, CTED Gov. Paul A. Elnas, CEA Gov. Gryka Dawn Juliana Samson, CCJE Gov. Riena E. Elnar, CAFF Gov. Alrey A. Calunsag, CTHM Gov. Vhon Cedrick D. Alipar, took their oath as well as the Vice Governors and representatives of the different colleges.

The ceremony was facilitated by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) main campuses I and II of Negros Oriental State University.
