Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) conducted a two-day Strategic Planning session for the years 2025-2028 at the university's Library Conference Hall on September 12 to 13, 2024. The activity began with the rationale of the workshops and an overview of the previous year's achievements and challenges with Ryan O. Tayco, Ph.D.

This session included the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis for the internal environment, and the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental (PESTLE) Analysis for the external environment. Additionally, there were two group presentations and three workshops.

Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, the university's president, emphasized his vision and dream that one day NORSU would be as panoramic and beautiful as a private school in this activity. "God bless, and let's light each other's candles," said Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, the university's president.

The session concluded after lunch on the second day due to class and work suspension. However, all reports and workshop output will be submitted to the Strategic Planning Google Drive.
