The Office of the Director, Community Extension Services of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) conducted an activity entitled "Strengthening Towards Sustainable Peace and Progress: A one-day Convergence & Presentation of Findings" on October 25, 2024 at Rovira Suites, Bantayan, Dumaguete City.
This is in line with the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) requests to NORSU to conduct monitoring and evaluation of the PAMANA program.
The evaluation and monitoring of the said program by the state university from 2022-2023 was implemented to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and impact of the program on the KAPATIRAN associations.
Dr. Merivic G. Catada, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, presented the "Monitoring and Evaluation of Peace and Development Projects Implemented for Kapatiran in Negros Oriental."
She stated that the monitoring and evaluation is part of NORSU's commitment to look into the needs of the community by conducting research.
The one-day activity was attended by DSWD, OPAPRU, LGUs, and NORSU-RIDE.
