A Memorandum of Understanding was entered into between Negros Oriental State University College of Business Administration and the Local Government of Barangay Batinguel, Dumaguete City on November 21, 2024.

NORSU President Noel Marjon E. Yasi and Barangay Batinguel Punong Barangay Frankie Credo represented the two parties and agreed to deliver extension services through training on Financial Literacy and Optimized Understanding of Responsible Investment for Sustainable Home-Based Microbusiness.

Alongside President Yasi were Vice President for Research,Innovation, Development and Extension Dr.Edwin Romano, Jr., Acting Dean Dr. Benjamin S. Villagonzalo, Jr . , Dr. Jaysone Christopher M. Bancoro, members of the faculty , and Barangay officials.
