Felix Chen, Manager of Surelead Education Guangzhou, initiated a promising partnership with Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) through a meeting yesterday, January 21, 2025, at the NORSU ST AVR. Chen expressed optimism about the partnership, emphasizing its potential to foster academic innovation and global connections, focused on faculty exchange, instruction, and research collaboration. The meeting was facilitated by the Office of International Linkages of NORSU. Moreover, representatives from both parties discussed mutual goals and formalized plans for future initiatives benefitting the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) and the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA). Present during the meeting were Dr. Arcie Nogra, Campus Administrator for Mabinay; Dr. Joseph Vill Villanueva, CEA Dean; Dr. Herminio Tinguban, CIT Dean; along with Assistant Deans, Program Chairpersons, and faculty members from across campuses. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing enthusiasm about drafting a formal agreement in the coming months, with plans to implement joint projects and exchanges in 2025.
