Following the signing of the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU), Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) and Cebu Normal University (CNU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signifying their commitment to academic collaboration today, February 28, at the office of the University International Relations.
NORSU President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi represented NORSU, along with Dean of Graduate School Dr. Chizanne S. Larena, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension Dr. Edwin F. Romano, Jr., and key faculty members Dr. Catherine T. Eliaga and Dr. Marissa L. Salgado. Representing CNU were University President Dr. Daniel Ariaso Sr., along with Dr. Genara Pacaña, CNU OIC Tech/Voc National Certification Training and Assessment Center.
The scope of the signed agreement includes: a) Exchange of students for a specified period through a recognized exchange program; b) Exchange of scholars, professors, lecturers, and researchers; c) Sharing of best practices related to smart campus systems and operations; d) Exchange of academic materials, periodicals, and publications; e) Organization of joint scientific research programs or other projects in fields of mutual interest; f) Sharing of experiences and best practices in administration, innovative teaching methods, and course design; g) Organization of joint symposia, workshops, and conferences; h) Other exchanges or collaborations of an academic nature to which both parties agree.
