Negros Oriental State University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, along with other university officials, attended today, March 5, 2025, the 38th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) National Convention and General Assembly.

The three-day event, held at Marikina Polytechnic College, Metro Manila, aims to explore ways to elevate education in the country. Among the objectives are discussing innovative strategies and best practices for integrating technology into the curriculum, enhancing Quality Assurance (QA) processes, and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders both locally and globally.

Attendees from NORSU also include Prof. Jeffrey Estores, QA Deputy for Academics; Dr. Ryan O. Tayco, Planning and Development Director; Dr. Chizanne S. Larena, Dean of the Graduate School; Dr.Liza Caballero, Assistant Campus Director of Bayawan-Sta. Catalina; Dr. Colette Abequibel, University Librarian; Dr. Francis M. Galon, Campus Director of Bayawan-Sta. Catalina; and Dr. Cesar P. Estrope, QUAMC Director.
