The Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) formalized its collaboration with the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on March 17, 2025, at NORSU's University Boardroom.

University President Noel Marjon E. Yasi represented for NORSU, while Engr. Niño Orcine represented TUP.

The partnership aims to boost research, education, innovation and resource sharing in key areas. This collaboration can build a strong base for innovative research and partnerships.
