The University President, Hon. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, Psy.D., led the ceremonial ribbon-cutting today, April 22, 2025, to officially open the Negros Oriental State University Main Campus Library Book Fair 2025 held in the Main Library Conference Room.

The guests were cordially welcomed by the Campus Director, Dr. Ryan O. Tayco, who emphasized the importance of knowledge, learning, and the role books play in shaping everyone's mind and future.

Dr. Rose Marie T. Pinili, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered a Message of Support, encouraging students and faculty to utilize books to enhance their knowledge.

The rationale for the Book Fair was presented by Dr. Colette O. Abequibel, the University Librarian, highlighting that this event aims to provide faculty members with access to a diverse collection of printed books.

During the Inspirational Message from the University President, Hon. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, everyone was reminded to revive the habit of reading. Presentations and the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation were given to the following exhibitors:
