Today, April 25, 2025, the Commission on Higher Education Negros Island Region, led by Director Raul C. Alvarez, awarded five (5) Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) to the Main Campus of Negros Oriental State University. The university programs that receive COPC approval are Midwifery, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics Engineering.

Negros Oriental State University President Noel Marjon E. Yasi is happy with the outcome of the complete adherence of various degree programs to the policies, standards, and guidelines set by CHED. Dr. Yasi commends the five programs that were awarded the COPC.
