In celebration of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month 2025, Negros Oriental State University officials, department heads, faculty, and staff gathered today, May 5, 2025, to kick off the observance of EODB Month 2025 under Presidential Proclamation No. 818 s. 2025, with the theme "From Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas."

Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, aims to streamline government services, improve regulatory management practices, and reduce bureaucratic red tape.

Dr. Merivic G. Catada, Vice President for Administration and Finance, urged everyone to take an active part in the observance of Ease of Doing Business Month 2025, emphasizing the primary objective of the celebration, which is to promote a culture of efficiency, transparency, and accountability in government service delivery.

In his message of inspiration and support, University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, highlighted the need to implement efficiencies in all offices to make transactions quicker.
