The NORSU Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, in coordination with the Human Resource Management Office and the Civil Service Commission, held the 1st batch of the Seminar on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) for Faculty on May 27-28, 2025. Under the theme "Future Ready: Rethinking Strategic Performance Management for Tomorrow's Challenges," Director Merlinda Flores-Quillano addressed the evaluation system for university faculty, deans and campus administrators.

The workshop seminar, held at the Royal Suites Inn, aimed to enhance the knowledge of the participants on the effective application and use of SPMS to enhance both organizational and individual performance. The discussions and workshops were focused on the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR), Division Performance Commitment and Review (DPCR), and the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR).

Resource Speaker Director Quillano highlighted the significance of connecting personal performance to organizational objectives and strategic plans, along with ways to assess and evaluate performance.
