As a culmination of the month-long celebration of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) 2025, the Negros Oriental State University organized a forum anchored on the theme "From Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas." The faculty and staff were cordially welcomed by the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Merivic G. Catada.

In his message of inspiration, University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi emphasized the need to streamline all processes for seamless transactions in all offices.

The invited speaker, Atty. Karissa Faye T. Maxino, Councilor of Dumaguete City, expressed her views and shared insights on the Ease of Doing Business. She emphasized its influence on successful governmental transactions.

An open forum followed, where participants had the chance to ask questions and seek clarifications on the provisions of R.A. 1032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

A plaque of appreciation was presented to the esteemed speaker. To close the program, Dr. Ryan O. Tayco, Campus Director of Main Campus 1, encouraged everyone to continue shaping NORSU into a globally recognized state university.
