Negros Oriental State University - Bais Campus I hosted an Industrial Motor Control, Electro-Pneumatics, and PLC Training last May 30-31, 2025, with guest speaker Mr. Renaldo E. Cenco, Operations Officer from AC-DC Training and Assessment Center Inc., Cebu City. The training aimed to develop comprehensive skills in electrical and automation systems, attended by all Electrical Technology Instructors from Bais Campus I, selected CIT faculty, and selected third-year BSIT Electrical students.

The core objectives of the training include:
1.) Installation of electric motors, control devices, and electric control circuits;
2.) Installation, assembly, testing, and maintenance of motor control systems;
3.) Configuration and testing of mechatronics and automation systems;
4.) Installation of mechatronics and automation devices;
5.) Interpretation of technical drawings and diagrams;
6.) Performing PLC programming using Siemens PLC to implement simple automation controls for a pneumatic system.
