The College of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Sciences, in cooperation with the Gender and Development Center of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU), is conducting a seminar on HIV/AIDS awareness at the University Sports and Cultural Complex.
Participants include all faculty and staff from NORSU Main Campus I and II. The event aims to educate and empower NORSU employees to join the country's advocacy of raising awareness about the importance of HIV prevention, testing, and stigma reduction.
An actual HIV testing and counseling session will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dr. Lui Miguel J. Balbuena, RMT, led the discussion on "Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV 101" as the guest of honor and speaker for the HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar for all faculty and staff.
