The Physics and Geology Department of NORSU through the GEOL 404 Computer Methods in Geology class is currently conducting a Seminar and Workshop of Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) to students from Life Science Society, Geodetic Engineering Students Society - NORSU, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - NORSU Student Chapter, Philippine Association of Geothermal Engineering Students, and Computer Science Students, November 15, 2025.
With the theme: Mapping the Unseen–Visualizing Environmental Hazard for Conservation and Sustainability, the event aimed to foster a community of knowledge-based learners centered on interdisciplinary collaboration among future scientists and engineers; empowering them with both practical and analytical competencies in line with their future professions.
