Negros Oriental State University, in partnership with DOST-PCAARRD under the Balik Scientist Program, held a DOST Balik Scientists Orientation Meeting at CAS AVR on November 20, 2025.
Dr. Dionisio T. Battad, Balik Scientist, gave an overview of the Balik Scientist Program. He also presented the Balik Scientist's Terms of Reference and Activities to Date. An open forum followed the presentation.
In attendance from NORSU were Vice President for Research & Development, Dr. Edwin F. Romano, Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Merivic G. Catada, Dr. Ryan Tayco, Campus Director, and some members of the faculty and staff.
