The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), the agency mandated to promote and oversee intellectual property nationwide, conducted a free five-day training workshop on IP Commercialization, Licensing, and Technology Transfer for ITSOs across State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Visayas on November 17-21, 2025. The training was held in Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City.
Negros Oriental State University was represented by Research Director Dr. Benjamin S. Villagonzalo, Jr. and Research Ethics Committee Member Ms. Chona Quitevis.
Their participation was made possible through the support of University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, Vice President for Research and Extension Development Dr. Edwin F.
