Negros Oriental State University is joining the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, celebrated from November 25 to December 12, 2025. In line with this, the University Gender and Development (GAD) Center, under the leadership of Dr. Aileen Rosette M. Felix, is conducting today, December 10, 2025, a lecture to promote awareness and prevention of violence against persons with disabilities: A Community Affair Program.

The event features a lecture on VAW-PWDs by Prof. Efreneth G. Alama, MA SPED, a faculty member from the College of Teacher Education.
