Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) received an Institution Award yesterday at the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2025, held at the PICC. University President Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi accepted the award, which celebrates NORSU's 167th rank in the WURI (World University Rankings for Innovation).

CHED Commissioner Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis commended NORSU's major impact on higher education and its clear evidence of a strong commitment to internationalization and sustainability, based on its impressive global standing.
