The Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) extends its sincere appreciation for the generous donation of a multimedia projector from Mr. Filman Monceda and company. Mr. Monceda is a proud alumnus of the University’s Geology program and currently affiliated with Glencore – George Fisher Mine, Queensland, Australia, in cooperation with the CVPC–NORSU Geology Alumni Association.
The turnover ceremony was formally received by NORSU President, Dr. Noel Marjon E. Yasi, on behalf of the University. The donated equipment was handed over by Mr. Rian Carmelo Villahermosa, nephew of Mr. Monceda, and witnessed by Dr. Jim Villahermosa, NORSU CAO–Admin, and Mr. Michael Vincent Tubog, Chairperson of the Geology and Physics Department.
This contribution will help strengthen instructional support and enhance the teaching and learning environment of the NORSU Geology and Physics Department. The University commends Mr. Monceda and company for their generosity and continued commitment to giving back, exemplifying the enduring link between NORSU and its alumni, both locally and abroad.
