Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) officially launched its celebration of National Women’s Month today at the NSM Gymnasium with a sports-centered event titled "Active Women, Empowered Voices: Badminton and Pickleball Event."
Organized by the University Gender and Development (GAD) Center, the program aims to highlight the physical health and female leadership within the academic community.
Dr. Aileen Rosette Felix, GAD Director, delivered the welcome address. This was followed by messages from key university officials:

Following the opening ceremony, the gymnasium transitioned into a competitive place for Badminton and Pickleball tournaments. These activities provided a platform for faculty and staff to engage in healthy competition while fostering a sense of unity.
The event marks the beginning of a month-long series of initiatives by NORSU to promote gender equality and celebrate the vital roles women play in society and the university.
