The Department of Psychology at Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) successfully concluded a one-day inspection and monitoring visit by the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Psychology today, May 5, 2026, at the CAS AVR.

PRB's inspection and monitoring evaluates the implementation of psychology programs, verifying that the curriculum, faculty, and facilities strictly adhere to the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The activity was joined by distinguished members of the PRB of Psychology: Hon. Miriam P. Cue, Chairperson, and Hon. Hector M. Perez, PRB of Psychology, alongside Ms. Ciove-an Angel E. Pabayos, PRC RO-7 representative.

Also in attendance were Libertine C. de Guzman, EdD, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Priscilla S. Cielo, PhD, Dean, College of Arts and Sciences; Mary Dawn I. Valencia, MAPsych, LPT, RPM, Chairperson, Psychology Department; Chizanne S. Larena, PhD, RPsy, Dean, Graduate School; Aileen Rosette M. Felix, PhD, RPsy, Director, Gender and Development Center; Annie Rose S. Taguba, RGC, RPM, Director, Student Welfare Services; as well as various faculty members.
