The first day of the Target Setting Workshop, led by the Office of the Campus Director for Main Campuses I and II and facilitated by Vice President Dr. Cesar P. Estrope and Mr. Jeffrey V. Estores, focused on Stakeholder Needs and Expectations Analysis, the Alignment of Program and College Targets with University and Stakeholder Needs and Expectations, SWOT Analysis, and the Formulation of Strategic Goals and Objectives for each Key Result Area.

This activity aims to strengthen the strategic direction of NORSU Main Campus I by aligning institutional goals with measurable outcomes and ensuring that all offices and units contribute to organizational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and continuous system-wide improvement.

According to Campus Director Dr. Ryan O. Tayco, the activity is designed to foster a strong sense of ownership of NORSU’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values, encouraging participants to embrace them as personal and professional commitments. He further emphasized the importance of integrating organizational governance, strategic planning, and quality management systems to promote accountability, excellence, and sustainable institutional growth.

The event is attended by campus deans, associate deans, faculty members, and selected heads of offices.

The two-day workshop is being held at Rovira Suites, Dumaguete City from June 10 to 11, 2026.
