The Sync & Serve Scholarships Ops Workshop wrapped up its second and final day today, July 15, 2026, at the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Library. The intensive two-day collaborative event focused on streamlining and synchronizing scholarship operations to improve the delivery and management of student financial assistance programs.

Highlighting today's sessions, key Commission on Higher Education (CHED) representatives served as resource persons to align local university protocols with national standards. Ms. Kristille Conie R. Padilla, Project Technical Specialist (PTS) III and Lead Regional Coordinator, alongside Mr. John Mark Balao, Project Support Staff (PSS) IV, led crucial discussions on the core CHED scholarship process. Their presentations thoroughly addressed billing procedures, liquidation, monitoring and reporting, and navigating common audit findings and compliance requirements to prevent administrative delays.

The final day of the workshop concluded with interactive, hands-on sessions designed to transition this administrative guidance into practical institutional workflows. University coordinators participated in standard process mapping, presented their newly optimized standardized scholarship processes, and consolidated their agreements and final action plans. Through these joint efforts, NORSU and CHED successfully wrapped up the event with a unified, actionable framework to ensure faster, more transparent, and highly efficient scholarship services for deserving students.
