The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program is a four-year degree program designed to develop competent, ethical, and globally competitive business professionals in accordance with CHED CMO No. 17, s. 2017. The program provides students with a strong foundation in business and management principles, preparing them to effectively respond to the dynamic and increasingly complex demands of local and international business environments. Replacing the former Bachelor of Science in Commerce (BSC), the BSBA adopts an outcomes-based and learner-centered approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications relevant to contemporary industries and organizations.
The program offers specialization in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Financial Management (FM). The Human Resource Management specialization focuses on developing competencies in workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, performance management, labor relations, and organizational behavior. It prepares students to become effective human resource practitioners capable of managing human capital strategically and ethically within organizations. Meanwhile, the Financial Management specialization equips students with knowledge and skills in financial planning, banking, investments, risk management, and financial analysis, preparing them for careers in corporate finance, financial institutions, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Anchored on outcomes-based education, the BSBA curriculum integrates business management courses with economics, marketing, accounting, finance, business law, operations management, information technology, and research. The program emphasizes critical thinking, communication skills, leadership, teamwork, innovation, and social responsibility to ensure that graduates can make informed business decisions and contribute positively to organizational and societal development.
